#Anolis
This cheeky, young, native green anole (Anolis carolinensis) stowed-away on the car I was driving away from the Naples Botanical Garden late last month.

Noticed him on the hood (see comments), pulled over, he obligingly jumped onto hand, & accepted a walk to shady bushes.

These little guys are so intelligent. Whenever I see them they're investigating something (or me) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anolis

We used climate and distribution data for 303 Anolis species and cold tolerance (CTmin) for 64, we found that anoles colonized the highlands at least 18 independent times. Mountain occupation isn’t a one-off event. It has happened several times. (2/6)

Green Anole at Lakes Park: These ectotherms must bask in sunlight to regulate their body temperature, which is essential for daily activity. The lizard rested alertly across broad leaves today. Females may lay one egg every one to two weeks during the breeding season. #FloridaWildlife #Anolis

anole I assume? I myself think they're cute and love 'em. I grew up with them on the Texas coast.

I can't advise on how to safely catch & relocate, because it's one of those things that I just know how to do, but can't explain.

most likely it'll find its way out.

Hello friend. I don't get to see you (or your species) often enough. I hate those brown cuban lizards that are outcompeting you at our house. So I'm extra glad to see you today. #Herps #Native

True, but even then it's still sadly better than all that came before it. Just lame that Anolis only put it on DVD. I still remember how exciting it was when that release turned out to have the Frontier Missile Sequence

They're evvvvverywhere. When I first moved here I practically had to re-learn how to walk because I was so afraid that I might step on one that I was tripping over myself to avoid them.

We will be presenting our own custom presentations of the English, German (from a digital TV rip that will be properly slowed to NTSC at the correct pitch, unlike the Anolis DVD/BD) and Latin American Spanish dubs that revert to the Japanese track or M&E where applicable.
