i stopped "being" a ww around the time I got into fandom. as a japanese i experienced mild othering, occasional antiasian racism but very rarely the violent hate that many, many others, esp. Black folks, receive frequently. it was still a reality check in the way how people acted around me though.

I'm sick of being trashed and insulted and called a lying ass liar.

It goes both ways. I have no problem telling other black people to be wary of antiasian behavior - no one is perfect, after all - so it's not like I'm doing this just to be a thorn in the side of asian people!
