Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with EA AntiCheat right now.
The way it's managed to prevent me from cheating in BF2042 by blue-screening every time I open the game is just top class anti-cheat protection.

Still don’t understand why devs disable Linux / Proton support because “cheaters use Linux”
I’ve worked in anticheat for basically 10 years at this point — all the games I’ve worked on have supported Proton with working anticheat… and by far the fewest cheaters were on that platform…

we need to retvrn to community hosted servers where instead of anticheat that borders on being malware, you can just hit up the server admin when you need the ban hammer
