D'avancées médicales susceptibles de faire baisser/limiter l'aspect invalidant. Déjà l'apparition des ttt antitnfα a radicalement changé ma vie. Mon corps est toujours dysfonctionnel, mais nettement moins douloureux et ça ralentit les soudures d'articulations.

Wish I could! I’m in the business of getting all the vaccines I can (I lost count of COVID shots at 8? 9? and I’ve had the flu shot every year of my adult life).

But MMR is live and I’m on antiTNF…which makes it a hard no.

Me rappeller mon traitement antiTNF alpha à 1200€ par mois... on est passé sur 400€ en bio équivalent assez rapidement ( 7 ans de mémoire)

As we use UPA in Spain after failure at least to biosimilar antiTNF then often these are refractory patients and we need extended inductions too 😓

Alors, ici on n'a même pas abordé le sujet.

J'utilise des antiTNF alpha, donc immunodépresseur, mais comme c'est aussi un traitement utilisé contre le rhumatisme pso, no se.

Je fais grippe/covid et les classiques DTP.

Par contre suivi dermato stricte annuel.

Les autres années j'étais comme toi (avec les mêmes précautions, antitnf oblige), et cette année j'ai pris la crème solaire de chez Lidl : non seulement la composition est top, mais en plus elle fonctionne pour de vrai... 🤷🏻‍♂️ Aucun coup de soleil, ni même rougeur...
(Et 7€... 🤷🏻‍♂️)

If using targeted approach, need fuller understanding of risk factors than just ethnicity/place of birth. Average orthopaedic surgeon not trained to think about exposure at any time in life, living in high incidence area (not just born there), prison, antiTNF Rx, occupational exposure, etc.
