one of the biggest cultural differences between Americans and people from Aotearoa nz is ordering food

"yeah, I'll get a ..."

vs

"hi! how's it going. could I please order the..."

then the Americans just sit there shouting happily at each other while we wince and block our ears

NZ-Aotearoa could absolutely stand to be more annoying about this as well

I think Suella's kids probably would say that if they grew up in the UK and moved to Aotearoa/NZ, yes. Except they'd say it normally.
And now Hannan supports Suella Braverman on English ethnicity. FFS.

Maybe they actually think their actions can be passed off as "we *could* do *worse*... so watch it"?

Anyhoo, we *had* chain stores that didn't take the piss AND treated staff well.

Dad reminded me of this chain some time back, but I just remembered to look it up again now.

Details in ALT.

This makes eight for me (in NZ time zone so I got to start a day earlier)! Loving all the Aotearoa style decisions to make. These were coconut and NZ lime slaw with shrimp, jalapeño, avo, and Waikato goat cheese on local flour tortillas #tacotober #31tacosin31days

I was taught a lot of grammar in the 80s, but that was in Aotearoa NZ. If it's come back, I'll hope to see the results soon at medical school 🤗🤞

in Aotearoa NZ we have a treaty with our native peoples that is currently enforced to a greater degree than not. The current tripartite government hates it and is attempting to override it. It's not going well for them.

NZ has at least 4 species of these dragonflies, and at least half of them are known from the vicinity of the Mavora Lakes. The rest of the genus are known from Africa east to the Pacific islands, and are usually black or metallic wit yellow markings.

Question re car rentals in Aotearoa NZ. Last time (ages ago) I had to rent a car/van it was a local. So I could call tomorrow and see if any available.

Is credit card enough to secure a rental or do they require me to upload pic of drivers licence ?

Now I'm wondering about data sources for what percentage of the NZ voting age population has travelled on a train in a country besides Aotearoa in the last 10 years.

Because I'm sure that 99.5% of of them had a great experience and said something along the lines of 'I want this at home too.'

First described as Epeira queribunda and Epeira quaesita in 1887 by Eugen von Keyserling, because he didn’t know the female and male specimens were the same species. Renamed as Novaranea queribunda in 2009.

Common across NZ.
