I'm a colossal loser so building this tonight instead of having anything resembling a real life.

The below DBpedia queries are returning some weird results (last I checked, The Guardian isn't owned by the United Democratic Party of Belize), any suggestions? My SPARQL is admittedly rather rusty. 😓

It's two functions in Google AppScript:

Had a list of names in a Google Sheet and wanted to turn them into Google Slides, each name as a text box on each Slide.

Couldn't figure out a way to do it, so asked Gemini to write the Appscript code for it.

Copied the code to the Appscript editor, ran it, and hey presto, a slide for each name.

holy moly, what a productive day

- got stuff done at work
- learned a bunch of vocab at asl class (i didn't do my homework OPE)
- upgraded my vps from ubuntu 18->22 and node 14->22
- added scheduled posting, replies, and accounts db to cheap-botsky
- gave crits to gf on her new song

2 ways to do this without writing appscript i *think* (again its been a minute)

1) the Sheets extension AutoCrat (workspace.google.com/marketplace/...)
2) Zapier/Make.com automation
