Serendipity and Ottoline are both dressed in very short dresses, together on a date during one of the latter's frequent visits back home. The two hold hands and as they walk down the steps of the Ruby Road. A merchant walks by and glances over at them, judging, and errantly tells Ottoline "Your bra is showing." Ottoline starts to bubble over in anger as her mind blanks trying to figure out a way to tell him off. Serendipity silently lets her fume, not one to get in the way of her being rightfully upset. Ottoline lowers her dress to expose her bra even more, raising a middle finger at the merchant and causing a panicked Serendipity to cry out "Ottoline, no!"

Various soldiers and personnel from the Ilsabard Contingent gathered around a campfire with a cook pot, patiently waiting for some stew. Alana stands alongside her flame familiar, Lugh, who is sitting like the people around them. Among the troops, Lyse stands opposite the fire from Alana. Flame Thaumaturge: Such a remarkable construct... For a being comprise of mostly fire, the composition of its aether is incredibly stable. Even the senior thaumaturges at the guild would struggle to maintain this form. Alana: I always figured Lugh was just gonna be my weapon, something as natural to wield as my ‘ole spikey. Alana: Never realized how important having an undying flame at my side would be just for traveling. Mannatheihwo was right along the Bounty. All that warm coastal weather, beautiful white beaches. Should’ve known I’d be looking at anything but the moment I ventured out from Landis.

Ottoline: "Some may even find this a worthy substitute for frivolous things like... *affection.* But I couldn't tell you how many highborn girls look forward to the Little Ladies' Day festival just to feel something close to love for one week out of a year." Taele: Of course it is, silly. I wanted to ask, what drives a woman like you forward? Dominica shivers as she seemingly swims in an ethereal red haze, her eyes bright red, with beady black pupils, as gives word to her thoughts. "The demon has changed me. The exiles in Ul'dah said that my physiology, the very aether that makes up my body... is 'strange' now." She shivers and clutches at herself, nude, with blood covering her mouth, trembling in uncharacteristic anxiety. "My mind is plagued by thoughts that aren't my own. I keep her in check. I have to. My body is my own. No one else's. Not hers. Not my husband's. Not the Empire's. I have to resist these thoughts, these urges..." Her eyes grow wild, and someone else's unsettling smile curves her lips upward, rambling madly as she clutches her head. Her words trail off in an unending mantra. "Like what if I wrapped my hands around that pretty blonde's neck and watch as the life fades from her eyes? It's not fair she gets to keep all that sweet, sweet blood all to herself. It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not fair...!" Dominica snaps out of it when she hears a knock on her door. Blonde Noblewoman: Doctor? Are you there?
