Ottoline: Roxanne? You don't lounge around La Noscean beaches very often. What brings you here? Roxanne: I'm on the hunt for nefarious critter, terrorizing beaches everywhere. It takes the form of a common crab. Are you familiar with this beast? Ottoline: Oh, yeah. You'd best be careful, it could strike anywhere. I was doing some blitzball training with Jude, and the crab got him earlier. Roxanne: Well, I've got nothing to hide! Bring it on! I'll nab this criminal crustacean! In the background, an Au Ri woman in a black cap deviously watches the beach.

Laelia's still determined to begin her world tour, though it's run into a few early snags. Eorzea certainly puts the "wild" in "wilderness." Luckily, her faithful crew are at her side.

Deep in the Black Shroud, amidst the brambles. Lars: Layla, I don't think your plans for an Eorzean tour" and bringing the "Rockin' Revolution" to these yokels is working out right now. Lars: We've got a pair of experienced trackers in our crew, and we still haven't seen a proper permanent settlement in days. Talking, flying cabbages sent us the wrong way. We're lost, there's all kinds of predators, and we're eating frogs off the ground. I'm sure your dad could've gotten us out of gaol in less than a week if we stayed in Garlemald. Lars: My point is, we're probably going to die, and you're making me do your makeup.

🔮 My OC's as Tarot Arcanas

Layla Hinamoto, The Fool - 0

#LaylaHinamoto | #AuRa
Layla blissfully walking along, facing the edge of a cliff. A black shiba marches alongside her. Layla wears a green dress, a matching green baseball cap worn backwards, and brown calf high boots, casually holding her guitar over her shoulder. A white flower in full bloom is loosely held in her palm in the opposite hand. "The Fool" is written in Eorzean text along the bottom with a zero above Layla's head.

Once Laelia Herminius, #LaylaHinamoto was an orphan of Garlemald's campaigns, raised in the capitol. A former idol singer, the rebellious Layla soon became the face of a burgeoning rock and roll counter-culture movement. Despite being sheltered, she's determined to bring the revolution worldwide.

Ottoline in a striped purple and white bikini, wearing a pair of purple sunglasses and matching earrings. She's standing quite confidently, proudly showing herself off. Roxanne after taking a swim at night, in a pair of denim shorts and a simple pink bikini. Her hair is pinned up. The water on her emphasizes her toned physique, from top to bottom. Layla wearing a simple black bikini with blue crystal accessories, and a black cap with a blue chocobo on it. She's playfully doing her best ranger pose, with a goofy grin on her face, making sure she holds the pose long enough for someone to take a picture. She's proud to let some of her scales get the spotlight. Chrysocolla lounging casually at the Turali beach, enjoying the unregulated weather and natural sand. She's wearing a revealing polka dot string bikini in her preferred teal colors, and a black leather choker. There's not a single thought or worry behind those bangs.

[ #AuRaApril Day 2 - Scales ]

Layla never had much opportunity to travel to the warmer Imperial provinces, and she certainly didn't show off her scales... yet. But Layla's proud of what she's got, and now that she's free, she's unapologetically showing it to the world.

(4.X) Every journey begins with a single step. The Layla Hinamoto Eorzean tour is set to begin!

We'll see how long she'll last without ceruleum cooling units/heaters.

The former Imperial fortress of Castrum Oriens, currently held by the Eorzean Alliance. Layla: Who knew a castrum could be this cozy. It's nice they let all the trees grow inside. It could also be the lack of Garleans that want to throw us in gaol. Thank you, Eorzea. Freddy: I can't wait to see the forest on the other side. The Black Shroud sounds like home. Lars: Forests? Trees? Warm weather? I want to go home... Layla: Easy there, Lars. You're the one that picked out your heaviest coat! I'm sure once we get to Gridania we can find a ceruleum cooling unit or something. Kaidi: Just need to warn you, sweetie. You might not be as welcomed in Gridania as you think. Especially if you're intent on keeping me around as your guide. Layla: Of course we want to keep you, Kaidi. You're part of the band as far as I'm concerned... What's wrong with Gridania? Aren't you from this part of Eorzea?

Freddy: Here, Layla. Let me show you a trick from my village. Stick ot your middle finger and index finger, like so, palm outward... Freddy: Congrats, my friend. Now you've got peace in the palm of your hand. Layla stares blankly, unamused and unimpressed. Layla turns her hand around, palm inward, knuckles outward. Freddy: Hey, don't sully the symbol of peace.

OC: The self-proclaimed Rockin' Revolutionary. One of many displaced orphans left in the wake of Garlemald's conquests, Layla Hinamoto (as she calls herself now) was adopted into a Garlean family and had a talent for singing and songwriting, developing into a talented young star.

🧵 (1/4)
"The year is 15XX. The Seventh Astral Era still knows no peace. The Emperor, Varis zos Galvus, has begun purging all subversive media that didn't serve the good of his Empire. Playwrights and artists were forced into retirement or exile. Despite the development of the greatest musical instrument known to mankind, the aetheroelectrical guitar has been deemed a tool of rebels and un-patriotic ne'er-do-wells. Rock and Roll has been banned in all but name. Truly, the worst has come to pass. But no law written in ink is as strong as a revolution written in blood. Rock and Roll is more than just a "genre." It's a revolution, a liberation! And that's what makes Varis so afraid. He's afraid to meet it head on, knowing full well that if he tried... ...the forces of Rock would mop the floor with his ugly fat head! And with your help, we can make this dream a reality!
