More or less the same for me. Did I actually play anything other than bastardised D&D (from various TSR rules + Arduin and stuff from fanzines), Traveller and Space 1889. Maybe MA &/or GW? Certainly a small percentage of the things that I owned

Back in the day "D&D" was a mess of various TSR books,Arduin, Judges Guild, Runequest, and whatever our fevered teenage minds could come up with

I remember once I wanted to play an elf. What type? Well, how about Klarn elves from this one 70s comic. Things worked like that

My fave is, of course, "grimoire" (of the Arduin persuasion)

In @robheinsoo.bsky.social's "Arduin, Blessed Arduin" campaign (13th Age w/ all-new icons), we are in a magical realm encountering, for good or ill, reflections of our characters from earlier campaigns. We were blessed by our former Arduin characters. From my previous phraint psychic warrior,... 1/2

That's an Arduinian skorpadillo. I used to have skorpadillo minis among my collection. Here they are with doom guards and knoblins. Gave them away as a fund-raiser for Planned Parenthood. Arduin has lots of monsters that are combinations of animals or monsters, skorpadillos & knoblins included.

my gray elf magic-user got the _psilken pstraps of psionic pspringing_: now I can jump like a psychic phraint and escape melee.

Non-Arduin campaigns generate rivals. Last week we fought two dwarven bands reflecting us in Rob's "Spearpoint" campaign. We made short work of them (no apologies). 2/2

This report presumably relates to the $310M Grenell & Arduin booked to income & other assets in the 2025 990.
BREAKING

A federal judge ordered the Kennedy Center's Trump-installed board to UNSEAL the 163-page report (with redactions) on the $250M+ renovation plan and two year closure.

The Board also must unseal a related Powerpoint.

The more I explore the OSR, the more I feel that the "recreate the nostalgia of youth" doesn't really get the appeal of original D&D in the first place. The true spirit of old D&D is the Arduin Grimoire. Utterly nuts. Borderline unplayable. Absolutely glorious.
October 7, 2026 at 8:46 PM
Kennedy Center 990 for the year ended Sept 30 2025 had to be better than the 2024 numbers under David Rubenstein. Grenell & Arduin made up a $310M federal appropriation for renovations & booked it all to income. The auditors won't issue an audit report with those numbers. Another clusterfuck.

Around 1 in 5 undergraduates has a disability - and because many don't disclose, the true number is higher.

Sarah Arduin fills a real gap: inclusion and well-being of students with disabilities, together.

Former Dunleavy budget hawk Donna Arduin returns to work in the Alaska Capitol
Arduin was Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s first and most controversial budget director, but she was ousted in 2019. Now she is back as a legislative aide, helping to craft a fiscal plan.
