I think the main issue here really is that lots of nice polite mainstream figures in media think quietly agree with him about this stuff or find it unobjectionable bsky.app/profile/asel...
Hanania has gone out of his way to try and persuade the mainstream media types and readers he wants to woo that he is no longer a racist. I don’t buy that, but he is at least putting on *the act.*

It’s my view that the World Cup could be a disaster for both American democracy and our global image. It will absolutely mean tourists are detained and treated roughly.
