Filtering options include:
- choose cities included (select or within range)
- content type (e.g. hide all quote posts)
- rank penalty or boost for alt text, following, mutuals, shared interests
- allow learning your preferences
- add custom list (i added my uni one)

#atdevs spread the word now

Sharing this now because I think folks might be interested! I've made a small library for best-effort conversion between lexicon revisions. Introducing lexshift:

space DIDs are nice for representing a community, especially if they're re-usable for different types of spaces (which I can't imagine they wouldn't be), eg. atdevs could have a private message board, kanban boards, shared canvases, etc., all managed by the same people and under the same DID

It’s the AT signal! Calling #ATdevs and artists! Annie here is interested in bringing comic publishing to the Atmosphere. Let’s make sure she has everything she needs.
I launched an indie webcomic hosting platform several months ago that offered a free and a $4/mo paid plan. This was purely to cover the cost of the infrastructure.

But in seeing it grow, I'm no longer worried about the cost.

So yeah Webcomic Studio is now free.

yeah maybe i'm being too harsh. i haven't seen *too* much of what was said from the people involved but tbh i actually have no idea how many people were involved besides the person who was responding to other atdevs who had their apps listed with the AI images

We seriously need this implemented everywhere.

Calling all ATdevs!
I’ve just released @passport, a new tool designed to make logging into the atproto a breeze!

Say goodbye to the hassle of typing out long handle names every single time. Once you register your handle, you can complete your login with just one tap through integrated apps or browser extensions.(1/4)

ok atdevs. your next project as determined by me is to make an HTML/JS local-first project like nullboard, but instead of only using browser local storage, it periodically syncs to your PDS. can anyone hear me github.com/apankrat/nul...
GitHub - apankrat/nullboard: Nullboard is a minimalist kanban board, focused on compactness and readability.

Hey #AtDevs. It needs to be possible to have posts omitted from discover feeds, or be omitted from custom feeds.

Given how feeds and federation work, it might not be perfectly doable, but even flawed support is better than no support. 🤷

Use: wanting to only reach friends.

Yes. There are more people who have access and it seems like verifications are being handed out randomly and atdevs are all flattered when they shouldn’t be.

You have an entire PROCESS and TOOLING that’s a great fit for community verification… which would make game folks perk up I think.
January 22, 2026 at 5:27 AM
Ok but how about you bless more verifiers rather than handing out verifications.

@trezy.codes’s games labeler please!

And if you wanna talk about it, we could put a crew together for atdevs and apps. (Not me)

Would be really great to have written guidelines. Like @trezy.codes does.

#ATdevs anybody wanna chip in to gift Jack a Verge subscription?
j4ck.xyz jack @j4ck.xyz · Dec 11
are any Verge articles free anymore? for me whenever I click any of them it tells me to subscribe. reader mode on iOS Safari hides the popups and lets me read the content but otherwise I don’t remember it all being paywalled?

hey, #atdevs
Should #atproto appview insert to db first or to PDS first?

If AV inserts to db first, it will eventually do same operation again from ingester.
If AV inserts to PDS first and only update db from ingester, the insertion can take longer and it can't guarantee the success.

dang oauth is a lot easier now, thank u atdevs
December 7, 2025 at 1:58 AM
And to my #ATdevs, what blockers/pain points get in the way of making Atmosphere apps beautiful? What design challenges are you facing? What interface or experience paradigms are hard to convey to new Atmosphere users?
November 28, 2025 at 11:25 PM
pinging #atdevs (bc I know some use) and other people who use kagi, do they give us back this magic? or just better than google (not a high bar now)?
November 28, 2025 at 6:00 AM
i don't get bsky verifications bc i thought handles were our way to verify? but hey i'm happy for all the atdevs getting verified
November 26, 2025 at 9:36 PM
I think the #ATdevs would be down for this. @knowtheory.net Atmosphere store?
On the Edge team, we think web apps should be easier to install.
The default browser install button is great, but we'd like something which you can use on your own site, how and when you want it.

That's why we're proposing the Web Install API, which you can now test!

Hey #ATdevs! I've got a proposal for some community tooling. would love to get thoughts and volunteers!

@erlend.sh reminded me of glue today, so let’s get this idea out there. Thanks to the good people in the EU, incumbent platforms are required to provide some kind of data export for their users. I wa...

#atdevs i'm dumb, how are you supposed to keep a long-running session running? call getSession, if error, refreshSession?
September 30, 2025 at 8:32 AM
#atdevs suppose i have a long-running app that needs to post on my behalf, how would seed authentication data to it?

please don't say oauth
