Thank you Atrius Health for cancelling my appointment twice in a row, and not bothering to tell me the 2nd time until day of when I already came into work early sleep deprived and tired after a weekend con. Fuck off.

This is a key moment for Mass. to come together around health equity. We are working with the Atrius Health Equity Foundation, community partners & state leaders to keep newly uninsured residents connected to care. We need people across sectors to call for change.

Obviously because my evil Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) Health Insurance Company refuses to let me travel to any Atrius Health facility on less than 14-days advance notice due to the mileage, repeating the bloodwork at one of their labs would mean I would have to reschedule...

I just called cardiology again, and the receptionist didn't find any notes in my file, so he had a cardio nurse call me back, all, "You can have your bloodwork done again at any Atrius Health lab!" And she was completely baffled when I said, "Yes, that's literally the problem?!?"

For real, I kept going to Atrius despite it being dogshit simply because I could walk there.
One of the really interesting findings here is that microtransit is associated with better healthcare access and health outcomes because riders are able to have reliable transportation to medical appointments.

Hey @ElizabethWarren when Optum/UnitedHealth took over Atrius Health, MA doctors were forced into 20-min assembly lines. Dr. Eleanor Hobbs retired saying: "I feel just like an Amazon warehouse worker." Is this the corporate future of MA healthcare? We need structural enforcement now!
