A friend once said, “Working in disability services changed my view.” She named my feelings. Once you see how the world shuts people out, you can’t unsee it. Inconvenient access. Compliance without inclusion. Following the letter of the ADA, not the spirit. Access isn’t a courtesy. It’s a right.
