got AudioMuse-AI setup on my navidrome server so now it can suggest musically similar songs from my library! so it wont go from c418 -> kobaryo
also it has this visual map of my library which is really neat

I ended up forking audiomuse so that I could use MeRT instead of musicnn for the sonic analysis, and then did the classification runs on my desktop overnight for 3 weeks

Okay, AudioMuse AI feels like the final nail in the coffin for any paid audio streaming service. It is incredible what modern self hosted music server is capable of nowadays.
At this point I analyzed only like 5% of my library and it already can produce meaningful results. Looks really promising.

something I wish navidrome/local media players in general had was good acousticly similar shuffle. I know about audiomuse it's not that good compared to spotify/yt music's recommendation algorithms

Sweet, more things to tinker with! I was just trying a selfhosted audiomuse-ai the other day. Analyzed music and generated playlists based on some magic embedding math. Wasn't super happy with the playlists it generated though.

I might give it a try this week. Audiomuse algorithm is cool but it's quite heavy

I am switching from Plex to Jellyfin for video, Navidrome for music, replacing Plex's very cool sonic similarity with AudioMuse-AI (initial scan will take a long time but still likely faster than the Plex initial sonic analysis scan)

scanning my music library with audiomuse and the map starting to look like the lost continent of musiclandia. also this thing has been running for like 109 hours on a spare 4070ti and has only scanned 5,603/22,994 albums lol
