I have so many tomatoes ripening atm from the plants I didn’t plant! (Sowed themselves) They taste delicious too.

Honey Bee practice. Unfortunately, the Queen seems to have imposed a "No-Fly" ban (flying bees, not actual flies like Drosophila); thus, couldn't get good in-flight photos - maybe next time, I hope! #honeybee #flowers #UCSCArboretum #photography #flowerphotography #AustralianGarden

Ok, how cool is this. Sitting on our veranda, with our dogs, having my morning coffee and only a few metres away there is a Native Swamp Rat and you will see two Whipbirds.

All the AI in the world won't supplant my delight in how stunningly beautiful nature can be

Love this plant, can't remember its variety name for the life of me, but it's the first native to flower in my garden each year

It is a delight to watch these native Blue Banded bees visiting the Salvia each day.

Spotted this unattended paper wasp nest in a succulent next to the driveway. Took the opportunity to knock it off then noticed there’s still pupae in the cells. Phone camera time! Such a delicate strong little structure, perfect sheer pulp cell walls. #waspnest #hexagons #nature #australiangarden

A hot and dry summer period is on the wane, so the autumn/winter plantings are in (kale, chard, cauliflower, beetroot, parsley.) Spinach to follow in the coming fortnight. Also a new native saltbush up front as well. #australiangarden
