Just tried to log into "X" after not being there for several months and I've seemingly been locked out? Keeps asking for a code from my authenticator app but I never set it up with an authenticator app...

At least they are not trying to authenticate their authenticator when the only option is to open authenticator and authenticate authenticator which can't open until it is authenticated (yes, I changed my phone and one of my accounts had no back-up method!).

Incredibly product design for microsoft's authenticator. They want me to use the authenticator to sign in to the authenticator, which would require me to be signed in to use it.
