I fucking hate wellness influencers quipping about immune disorders like “you can either be a bitch or get an autoimmune disorder” that unscientific shit sucks so bad

Crazy how a little bit of hope can legit make you feel healthier, like physically healthier, like I can go out and not suffer autoimmune disorders upon direct contact with sunlight

Stanford researchers studied 27 autoimmune patients and found CD19 CAR T-cell therapy cleared EBV-infected, autoreactive B cells that resisted rituximab.

8 of 12 CAR T-cell patients achieved sustained drug-free remission.

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) reprograms autoreactive B cells into activated antigen-presenting cells that drive pathogenic T- and B-cell responses in autoimmune disease. Using EBV B-cell sequencing (EBV-s...

Im speechless. My autoimmune fatigue is temporarily cured. I could run a race right now (that’s normally literally impossible for me).

After so many years of real, disheartening gaslighting, then confirmation by a specialist that daughter had several autoimmune diseases, then gaslighting by the school, she was assigned a new doc who KNOWS ALL THE THINGS and might actually have some solutions🙏

so it's an autoimmune disorder for you
November 3, 2026 at 4:56 PM
Like yeah can lifestyle and stress play a big part in symptom flares? Absolutely. Do you need to be militant about self-care? Yes. Does being a shut-in and a cunt actually produce better long-term outcomes with most autoimmune disorders? NO.

Thank you. And they need to stop acting like an autoimmune disease is a moral failure. I’ve had RA for 9 years and I’ve heard it all. Exhausting.

Dead ableds: telling someone for any reason, especially *UNSOLICITED*, with an autoimmune disease to stop their medications and eat dandelions and drink brassica water is some fucking monstrous evil shit

This is an extreme example but this isn’t rare and you need to keep your fucking mouths shut
also not for nothing, but licorice is contraindicated for like A TON of medication lmao

Any other autoimmune girlies get headaches with season/weather changes

A small study found promising results using CAR T-cell therapy to treat autoimmune diseases by targeting Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-infected immune cells.

• CAR T-cell therapy: 8 of 12 achieved drug-free remission
• Rituximab: 0 of 15 achieved remission

Promising, but more research is needed.

The dog we've had the longest, since June 2021 is dying of an autoimmune disorder. She's a ball of sunshine and neither of us is okay
Husband is taking one of the dogs to the emergency vet. She's been sleepy (we weren't alarmed bc it's been rainy) and she collapsed while walking, but is alert and responsive. I'm sitting with the other 3 pups trying not to freak out

The scariest thing to me recently is the activated charcoal in drinks fad. Ppl don't realize they if they take any meds, that's going to make them useless. My personal favorite though is all the ppl who tell me to just "boost your immune system!" when I have multiple autoimmune disorders.
