#Autonomy
wtf??????
On one hand I don't want to act like this is all her fiance's doing bc she is an adult woman (a politician) with autonomy... But super fucking weird this could link to a partner
Truly this is a legendary event in modern politics

And you want to choose to use your autonomy to kill people you view as wrong.

It is. It is in the eye of the beholder, not the state. It is up to each of us to choose what to do with our own autonomy, and to live with the consequences which come from our choices. This is the world that anarchists fight for.

Look. The GOP wants to strip my daughter of her right to bodily autonomy. SO DO MUSLIMS. At least the GOP will allow her to learn to read and to wear whatever clothing she likes. There is no such thing as a liberal or progressive Muslim. They don’t exist.

AI agents are most useful when they have a clear task, limited permissions, and a human approval point for consequential actions. Autonomy works best with boundaries. #AI #Agents #ResponsibleAI

The biggest money issue for voting in America is Citizens United which robbed 🇺🇲s of fiscal autonomy, voting one person one vote. Corporations are not one person but the amount of money they put into elections to win elections w/advertising is undermining democracy. CU must be overturned.

Part of what makes Remmick from #Sinners so interesting is that he isn't even lying about what he wants. He means what he says about family, equality, and an end to bigotry. He just wants them on his terms and without regard for the autonomy of the people he's offering them to.

I felt like my first Saturn return wanted me to confront things like my personal autonomy, boundaries, and brought me to the realization that I needed to remove things from my life that were no longer serving me. Also forced me to focus on becoming a more responsible person!

Of course he’s thrilled 😒

So weird how these freaks are A-OK with stripping bodily autonomy from women, but they’d riot in the streets if they were compelled to do a simple thing like donate blood to save actual lives.

I hope #Idaho stops this madness by voting YES on Prop 1 ✊
ICYMI on Friday: A 9th Circuit appeals court panel ruled to keep Idaho's abortion ban intact, reversing a ruling that said exceptions should be made when a pregnancy threatens physical or mental health.

Idaho AG Raul Labrador said in a statement this morning that he is "thrilled" by the ruling.

The 'metabolic work' of agency bridges the gap between a biological machine and a living subject. When autonomy is seen as the active process of maintaining organization against entropy, the moral gap closes. 🌀✨

It was Reagan and elder Bush courtier James Baker who had a key role in helping Morocco to derail the UN-run referendum and pushed for 'autonomy' under Moroccan occupation and for illegal Moroccan colonialists to be able to vote in a referendum.

And that was a quarter of a century ago.

i’m just slightly irked that it’s like “parents should decide for their kids” and not “kids should have some say in their own bodily autonomy”

Teenagers are boys. Males in 20s, esp if struggling to grasp consent and autonomy, are boys. I'm talking intellectual and emotional maturity.

"Better than something worse" is not a great sell. This text clearly contains harmful stereotypes and if you don't see that you're the one lacking literacy.

Getting older and losing your autonomy is even harder without family around. You need to consider both the practical and emotional issues involved...
Are you prepared? How about your parents? What do children OWE to their parents?

And just for reference for this lib, trans women in this scenario would have to DIY estrogen to replace it. Cis women could still get it to treat enocrine disorders.

Women undergoing dangerous things because the government made their healthcare and bodily autonomy illegal. Sound familiar? Hmm?
