Really important story - army officials asked soldiers to identify themselves if they don't agree with Trump's politics that way he'd get only supportive soldiers in uniform during his political rally on base. Heavier soldiers were also barred from participating.

Someone with standing should file a lawsuit, too, stat. I don’t know if that’s Bluesky or someone who’s been banned from Twitter, but it needs to be challenged. Make the Supreme Court say Republican presidents can privatize government communications.
The NTSB says it will no longer email news outlets or reporters with notifications of upcoming press conferences, including those on plane crashes in Washington and Philadelphia.
Instead, all notifications will be made on X.

Aviator sunglasses look great on a lot of people. Aviator glasses look fine on very attractive people. If you're average looking, and you choose to wear them as regular glasses, the best you can hope for is that you don't look like a murderer.

FDR clearly supported the allies with Lend lease, but the public was not on board. FDR worked to turn public opinion during the Blitz, as soon as America entered the war, It was like pulling teeth to get Americans to agree to invade north africa...

I get the appeal of Gavin Newsom. I think a lot of centrist dem types actually like and want fascism, but they don't like the aesthetics of how Trump is delivering it. Like they ordered the fascism from wish and it looks ugly, brutish, and cheap. It's gauche.
