Bulk rolling film can still be a good option - Rollei Retro 400s which is the same as Super Pan 400 and possibly Catlabs 320 all derived from Aviphot 400s with its extended red sensitivity £66 delivered so £3.72 a roll …..

Awesome! That’s better (imho). I quite enjoy shooting mine. Have rolled some 70mm aviphot in there as a short roll and shot single paper negatives. 😅😅

I've def leaned more to the Kentmere 200 price end for film so this is more $/roll than I'm used to... and still haven't found a bulk film that I just have to have. Although I'd say Aviphot 200 would be the choice but I'm not sure I can find any anymore.

I'm an Aviphot fan, though I mostly use 200. HC-110 should be good vis a vis sharpness, but that upswept curve is definitely going to crush shadows with that film. My current favorite developer w/Aviphot is T-Max, which is better about that. But Avi 80 does does give deep shadows at EI 80....

if it's true that rollei infrared, superpan 200 and retro 400s are all the exact same stock (agfa aviphot 200), it's pretty sneaky of them to sell the infrared for a couple of pounds more per roll isn't it?
