Damage is the easiest currency D&D has, so while yes, a potent fighter is a goddamned blender, letting the fighter do anything really cool with the game's skill system is A: implicit rather than explicit, B: contextual, and C: relies on a DM willing to let you try it, which many do not.

a) who determines who a "fighter" is? Israel would have you think any "military aged male" should be counted as a fighter.

b) Gaza has been under constant assault for 3 yrs. Someone who took up arms against those killing their friends and family is justified

An escort mission of following a cop car with a cartoonishly large megaphone, driving through suburban streets proclaiming "Aliens invading! Don't panic!" A blonde lady in a blue dress can be seen in front of her house, yelling and panicking. Flying the pitch black Schwarzkopf fighter jet with a sci-fi red engine exhaust on the back, doing a tight right turn over a jungle near some Mayan ruins and a large ziggurat rising under the poisonous green skies. One of the unlockable ships is an actual old timey UFO called the Frizz-B, currently flying over an alien installation with a central hologram of a rising spire. The homeworld of the Martians, which I'm assuming is Mars but maybe they're from a planet called Martia, I don't know! A yellowish desert with a river of lava and large metallic arches going over it with a green dome protruding from the ground on the left, complementing the pinkish-purple skies.

The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one. But still they come! Aptly named B-Movie for the European release, this game puts you in the pilot seat of numerous advanced aircraft, defending Earth from a Martian invasion in an impressively large map action at sleek 60 fps and an aggressive LOD system where every little house and object has several levels of detail and textures, creating a very grungy but smooth look with some gorgeous low poly models and Amiga-era pixel art texture work in a sort of clumsy but breakneck fast arcade gameplay. Here we have the aerodynamic Red Devil fighter ship doing a whoosh over a small rural town near Washington D.C. with lots of little adorable low-poly houses, a church and trees as the orange sunset skies bring forth a fleet of UFOs, several smaller and flatter ones and a larger bowl-shaped saucer with neon green udders. The awesome silver and red fighter jet called Tsunami, looking like something straight of out Raiden or another cool Japanese shmup, doing a tight right turn while flying over an urban area at night while Steed, whatever wingman dude or mission critical characters he might be (I wasn't paying attention) is saying "On my way to his home, cover me". OK dude, I'm not gonna lie to your partner about your affair or whatever it is you're doing, I'm fighting Martians over here. The sleek silver Cobra ship with two large engine exhausts on the side, flying over the White House under the beautiful pink skies with the Washington Monument obelisk looking erect in the distance as black flying saucers start shooting blue laser fire at the building. My hunch tells me I should just let them do their thing and not interfere. The outside hull of a giant mothership with many green domes, generators and trenches lit in orange lights as you fly the B-62 Mk. III, a WWII looking jet with lots of black and white stripes and checkered patterns on its wings and fins, doing a strafe run as its blue engine leaves a thin blue streak as it comes from the right, targeting some structures as a little green butt-naked alien with a big orange megaphone looking gun looks around.
