When I worked at Pru this was part of conversations quiite frequently - triple lock is totally unsustainable and that (as well as state pension, eventually) will have to go as it's one of the few ways to 'fix' welfare budget, but good luck to whoever a) proposes this and b) gets it through!
Mathematically it's unsustainable. It's not a political question there.
Every year it rises faster than inflation or wage growth, and is also guaranteed to grow for a given pensioner (the floor of the increase).
It's only sustainable if the share of pensioners in the population tends towards zero.

i hope so too for both of us 😭 i’ve never had any good luck with state assistance (unemployment insurance was the worst decision i ever made during the pandemic) so i can really only wish it a) goes well and i get approved and b) doesn’t come back to haunt me later like before

First time? They shoo everyone into the corrals by 6:45-6:50. You can (in past years) also move back, but not up, if you prefer to stay with friends in other corrals. I'm super slow, but get slotted in A because I'm part of MCR's team. Never takes long for B folks to pass me. Good luck next week.

b. The student seemed responsible but said he had internet issues, & didn't come to class consistently.
c. I recorded an A on the paper & final & much lower grades for homework & attendance/participation.
