In three of the cases of pediatric deaths that Prasad, Makary and Hoeg claimed were “possibly” or “probably” caused by COVID19 vaccines, Parvovirus B-19 (fifth’s disease) was apparently found— and it is *known* to cause myocarditis.
Parvovirus B19 and Myocarditis The presence of Parvovirus B19 in myocardium complicated the causality assessment of VAERS reports , and (among the possible/probable cases). Parvovirus B19 (B19V) is a common infection, with seropositivity up to 50% in adolescents (11). It is a known cause of myocarditis, involving infection of cardiac endothelial cells (12). B19V has also been suggested as a cause of dilated cardiomyopathy, but studies of this association have yielded mixed results, as B19V 13 PSI_COVID-19_VACCINE_000018 AUTHORIZED FOR PUBLIC RELEASE BY CHAIRMAN JOHNSON DNA can also be found in cardiac tissue of individuals without myocarditis or cardiomyopathy (13). Diagnosis of active infection can be accomplished by detection of specific antibodies against B19V by enzyme-linked immunofluorescence assays, or by detection of viral DNA with the use of PCR (14). Additional testing can include in situ hybridization testing in erythroblasts (15). However, in cases where such testing is not performed or when results are not available, discerning causes of autopsy-reported cardiac disease where B19V is detected is challenging.

This suggests more people are being infected with parvovirus B19 this year compared to last year. B19 activity is expected to peak over the next few weeks. Healthcare providers with a sick patients who has an illness consistent with parvovirus infection should consider testing, especially this month

A morbidity and mortality weekly report (MMWR) released by CDC today found that the number of Parvovirus B19 infections is higher this year compared to last year. B19 activity typically peaks April through June.

Mein Verdacht bestätigt sich. Im Labor findet sich eine akute Infektion mit Parvovirus B19. Die Patientin hat Ringelröteln.

Mit Röteln haben Ringelröteln nichts zu tun. Auslöser sind unterschiedliche Viren.
