damn you for answering the boolean ‘or’

chat don't tell them about the MouseHasBoobs boolean that has a 10% chance of being True on save creation
i had a moment with this game last night

BRING BACK THE BOOLEAN SEARCH YOU COWARDS
Breaking news: Alphabet shares tumbled 13% on Thursday after the Google owner revealed that 'AI mode' searches were threatening profits at its core advertising business. ft.trib.al/g8Q9IPx

Does Google not do Boolean search stuff anymore?

Why are ghosts good at writing code?
They understand BOOlean logic.

I tried taking a monster census.
But I forgot to Count Dracula.

ok just five minutes more in bed thinking about kissing you and reading on boolean algebra

I once did so poorly on a boolean logic quiz in the Navy that the instructor wrote "George Boole is rolling over in his grave" on my answer sheet.

Born Today in 1815, George Boole was mathematician, philosopher, logician and he's best known for being credited with devising the Boolean algebra and laying the foundations for the information age.

Here comes the boolean train, troo troo!

Anyway, it's good for certain relatively mechanical tasks, and for digging through literature for nuggets that are hard to excavate using classical boolean search. It still misses a lot (I know this because I have pretty comprehensive knowledge of certain parts of the literature).

#OnThisDay in 1815, George Boole was born. The English mathematician and logician developed Boolean algebra, turning logic into mathematics and laying foundations that would later become essential to digital computers and modern technology. 💻➗

What's weird about this is that it's describing worst case complexity, so it isn't just that some boolean circuits have some structure to them, it's that they *all* do. What possible structure could there be in *all* boolean circuits? In common? How does that even make sense?

"okay i think i understand A* enough to start working on an implementation"

*six hours later*

ok i finally know how to generate a signal when there's a collision at a given set of coordinates in godot, but not how to usefully poll it in order to pass it as the return value of a boolean function

Well, the first one is embarrassing.

One story was personal to me - for about ten years, I taught Introduction to Logic so all of the Boolean material is very familiar. 🧠

Today is the birthday of George Boole... False? NOT! True! George Boole, the inventor of Boolean Algebra, was born on this day, November 2, in 1815 in Lincoln, England.

Apparently Boolean operators and repeated searches are 'suspicious activity', and I have been blocked from GOOGLE BOOKS during finals season. Not a single researcher was present when they decided what to flag as 'bot' activities it seems. *Expletives*

I am currently writing Boolean search strings to find things that I need, made by humans. It's fine.

A great way to understand logical operators! Boolean algebra has never been so spooky. 🎃
Always a logical post this time of year

Complete characterization of Boolean functions exhibiting quantum advantage in one-way communication: sign degree d≥2 yields polynomial advantage; d=2 shows exponential separation between quantum O(log n) and classical Ω(√n) protocols.
