I replaced the battery on my partner's BV6000 phone today (was my old phone until it got stuck in a reset loop in Heathrow Airport, needing a firmware update).

I undid 10 screws, lifted off the edge plates, and the back literally popped off... because the battery was so puffed up.

Nice & easy.

My main mistake when removing the old battery was thinking it was a "pull down" contact (like a screen connector) rather than a "lift" contact (like a WiFi antenna connection). Icons include Dominion, Magic Earth, VLC, and DuckDuckGo. This phone is currently used without a Sim card in it, via a WiFi connection.
