I haven’t heard anyone explain the connection of rising conflict in Ethiopia to the Houthis advances towards the Bab al-Mandab straight. I know Houthi fighters are within like 20km of Djibouti rn, so I’m assuming that opposing factions within Ethiopia are using the opportunity to escalate
