These are the original Victorian photos of my characters. Actually, the photos are anonymous, I just thought they looked like the characters I had in mind. It's really wonderful having photos. Not the thing when you are writing medievally. On the left is my image of Ben Watson, a black man with a beard, and standing in a dignified pose with a rather long watch chain from his upper waistcoat down to a lower pocket (It could also just be glasses), and on the right is Tim Badger, a dapper white fella, who looks like he's trying to be the proper gent with a bowler tilted down over one eye, sitting with his hands resting on his cane. Ad for the Misplaced Physician with a Sherlockian background of a book, a magnifying glass, a pipe, and a deerstalker hat with the words of the blurb for the boo by bestselling Sherlockian author Bonnie MacBird: "Thoroughly Engaging Read!
