I have also noticed people in the 'Banburyshire Info' group annoyed that I haven't replied to their comments. Unfortunately, due to a complex Facebook issue (which I am trying to sort), I am not able to post directly or comment in this group. If you have an urgent issue, please email me.

Congratulations to the Banburyshire Advice Centre for celebrating its 9th anniversary yesterday. The charity does great work helping local people with benefit applications and those looking for jobs, debt management and other services.

Many thanks to the volunteers and staff.

I am glad that local nurses were able to celebrate Nurses' Day on Monday, if briefly, before returning to their dedicated hard work. Thank you to all the nurses who look after and improve the lives of those who need it in Banbury.

A lot of ancient sites & landmarks are being destroyed by developers & farmers, hence why I do these walks to try and get them noticed and protected -- or rather, they are 'protected', but the law is never enforced:

Also such a shame that once again Banbury’s Mill Arts Centre has been flooded again.

I’m proud to be a trustee of this wonderful organisation so see the work that goes into making it such an important part of Banbury’s cultural make up.

Full moon always rises almost (it can vary by 10 - 20 minutes) simultaneously on the opposite horizon to the setting sun. When the moon is next to the sun it is a 'new' moon.

I made a video of a walk called "Hunting the Hunter’s Moon (October 2022)" to show this:
