you can just do popular stuff that doesn't cost very much and everyone likes and can immediately see the benefits from, instead of doing immoral unpopular stuff that's very expensive whose putative popular effects are at best a bankshot

if you like AOC and her policies you should definitely want her to be President instead of a Senator. To think otherwise is silly bankshot logic.
Part of the reason I’m probably leaning toward preferring AOC run for Senate instead of president is that even if she wins the presidency AND gets a trifecta, there are still so many horrendous Senate Democrats that she may be limited in what she can do.

This isn't a stretch or some technicality bankshot, it is a core function of the court to protect the integrity of its own proceedings from parties resorting to extra-judicial coercion and threats against each other.
