#Bankruptcy-($20K
Replacing Obamacare with a $2,000 credit would be catastrophic: families facing $20k+ premiums would lose coverage, skip care, drown in medical debt, and risk bankruptcy. Millions would be uninsured, while insurers and hospitals shifted costs to everyone else.

I'm confused. What exactly is this verbal spat about?

I'll grant the $8K fact. But that means millions of families have next to nothing in the bank. And families with $10-20K "in the bank" often have much greater financial exposure to shocks.

Millions of Americans are one event from bankruptcy.

Digging up the beach now? The ratepayer cost of Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate's Mar-a-Lago trip is unknown but it was capped at $20k. He's dismissed financial concerns over property developer David Young's double bankruptcy because he's "in good company" with Donald Trump. #qldpol

He's not done yet.

You're only just about to see the collapse in supply lines to US stores. Trucking companies are about to start filing for bankruptcy in the next week or two. UPS has only just announced 20K layoffs.

Next 100 days are gonna be 🔥

💯 this is important.

You cannot win a war if your air defense costs $20m per missle, and the enemy attacks with drones that cost just $20k.

It's a recipe for bankruptcy... and a bankrupt strategy.

Been here. $20K. He never looked back. I worked three jobs for 3 years to 100% repay my Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

ahh yes, slip gently into the waters of no health coverage and paying $10k-$20k/year for private insurance who will fight you for months on anything you claim... if you're in a car wreck, you'll go broke and declare bankruptcy.

just wade in slowly. Ribbit.

If my math is correct, if you donate $20 now, it qualifies for an additional $55 in matches. Let's go!!!

The total is now around $20k, not $15k as shown in the image.

Florida, pay attention:
A family of 4 making $100K? Your health premiums could TRIPLE next year...20K+ out of pocket? Not out of the question.

Maria in Tampa makes $95K.
She’ll lose her ACA subsidy.
Her premiums will explode.
She’ll drop coverage.
One emergency = bankruptcy.

I'm a breast cancer warrioress & I had 90/10 coverage -1 medication was over $100k, 3 surgeries at $20k 18 chemo rounds $2500 each. Bankruptcy...

I am furious with you for capitulating for pitiful concessions. My 2026 ACA premiums are going up 42%, an annual increase of $6K to $20K+ for 1 person! With chronic health conditions, I must find the $$ somehow, or risk bankruptcy or even death. Fight like YOUR life depends on it - our lives do!

I propose a tax that makes any trillionaire a ¼trillionaire.

Musk will spend much of his life in prison or in non-extradition countries.
His will be history's most spectacular bankruptcy.

2025 was the first year we made just enough to not qualify for ACA subsidies. I can pay “less” in premiums for $18-20k deductible. I have 2 kids in college this year so haven’t decided where I’m at on the risk-affordability spectrum. Do I waste a ton of money or risk medical bankruptcy or both?

Number of years ago I had a kidney stone that was sitting at the bottom of my kidney. Because I was on aspirin, they had to go in and knock the stone up into the kidney. A week later, lithotripsy. With good insurance, I still was billed 20k. Led to bankruptcy for me. UGH. Double UGH.

We agree to share the risks of our healthcare this year, such that if I find myself needing $10, $20k, $80k of costs that I will be reasonably well-protected from personal financial risk and potential bankruptcy.

Now. Which should I choose you galactic piece of warmed over garbage?

Had a homeowner tell me she bought a hot tub for $20k and then it collapsed her deck so she spent $20k fixing the deck, and I was like, "nice, I'd have to file for bankruptcy."

The Donald has been known as the bankruptcy king and litigation queen since the 80s, And this Adjudicated rapist has been laundering money for Russian oligarchs since 80s, He even rented out top floor in trump towers to oligarchs for them to pay 20k for marriage to escort's for citizenship,,

In 2010 the bank that foreclosured on our 100k house sold it for 20k to an LLC but refused to refinance it to us and just lower our payments.
Instead we were forced to file bankruptcy and rent a house.
That's why I would rather this could bail out it's people like student loan forgiveness than banks

so, my bills are finally flooding in. last night, i got an email w/ my surgery bill (which only might include the emergency room stuff). even w/ a heavy discount applied, that bill is almost $15K. so far, w/ everything added up, i would need AT LEAST $20K - $25K. looks like i'm declaring bankruptcy

Party City laid me off after first bankruptcy and then brought me back 3 months later w/ 20k raise (don't say that's why they went out of business)
