one of my favorite local breweries recently closed and I was very bummed about it…but a small Barcade is replacing it and is apparently going to have a 5v5 Killer Queen Cab so it’s arguably the best case scenario for a shitty situation. genuinely so excited to have local access to Killer Queen

I wanna thank everyone for the bday wishes and I wanna mention I celebrated myself with friends at a barcade and it had a Shrek theme, all staff was in full Shrek cosplay and there was a Pinocchio piñata getting a wedgie from the Gingerbread man it was awesome, I loved it

the specific situation im referring to was that i wanted some method at this barcade by which i could mark myself/the setup i was at as "open to randoms!" so if people wanted to they could hop on and play shit w me on said setup which i thought would be a fun way to facilitate playing stuff

to be clear i imagine this is for good reason and from what i can tell i am in the minority as Person That Wants To Play Games In Person With People I Havent Met Before (i remember i suggested some way of facilitating this at a local barcade and it was assumed i wanted it to get laid) but idk

I’ve been doing this a lot via the local barcade having a rotation of fighting games each month man I don’t think I’ve had this much fun playing fighting games in years. It’s a real fun balance of that “like riding a bike” feel but also coming back with fresh eyes and learning whole new things.
