This little painting (and the frame) was found years ago at my local thrift store. It was $3.99. I still love it. Treasures can still be found, I find them all the time.

I found these two amazing heavy wrought iron chairs @ Goodwill for 1/2 price, $7.99 for both. They just needed a little black spray & now work perfectly on my deck. I love thrifting!

I found this composite bust at Goodwill for $3.95. It looked like plastic. I painted her with real iron paint, then rusted that paint with patina, and glued on a crown of shells from my collection.

A corner of my living room. The pottery, crown, and Picasso print in the frame were thrifted. The Bombe chest was purchased at auction, and the needlepoint chair from an estate sale. I can't even remember when I bought something new.

Years ago I found this composite bust while thrifting for $3.95. I wanted it to look like rusted iron, so I painted it with real iron paint & applied a rusting patina (both from Modern Options.) I glued on a crown of seashells from my collection.

I made this vase by buying a Dollar Tree round bowl vase, gluing mung beans to it and spray painting it silver. I thought it looked like molten drops of silver had been dropped all over the vase. It's still one of my favorites.

This extra large 30"x36" oil painting was 99 cents in 1997 at Red, White & Blue thrift store. The tag simply said 99, the cashier assured me it was cents. I snapped it up. I found the frame shortly thereafter for $9.99.

This is a monumental silver punch bowl that I thrifted a couple of years ago for $12.99 that lives in my library. The silver wreath around its rim was $2.99 and the 4 candles were around $1.99 ea. There's a plate inside to stabilize the candles.
