For those unaware of #BasicFantasy, it's an #OSR #TTRPG that was developed from a mix of BECMI and other early #DnD. It's super easy to homebrew for, is free (pdf, odt) to incredibly affordable (print copy), and if you want a classic, #StrangerThings style D&D experience, it delivers. 1/2

Ran my first session of my West Marches campaign today. Used the Basic Fantasy rule set along with some paper miniatures.
Went quite well, actually. Only one player died.
Protip: After you turn an undead creature, leave it alone.
