I usually screwed up the baud settings during the first broadcast I'd happen to catch, and I'd have to wait a few hours to hear the next broadcast to get it right. But getting it right made you feel like James Bond.

I still remember downloading Voyager fic from alt.startrek.creative.erotica on my 1200 baud modem. I'd set up the downloads before I went to bed, and hope that the eight-character file names were actually something I wanted.

So someone else released new firmware for the device and it fixes a lot of my workflow problems.
Its still limited, but this and additional patches helps a lot. I think someone could make great music with it, if they were very patient.

So someone else released new firmware for the device and it fixes a lot of my workflow problems.
Its still limited, but this and additional patches helps a lot. I think someone could make great music with it, if they were very patient.

At 300 baud, I used to be able to distinguish certain ASCII codes correctly - I could tell the difference between a successful and failed credit card authorization call by ear.

No, you cannot exfil using VLF, or CPU temperatures. These people can't tell the difference between baud rate and bit rate, and have never heard the Shannon Limit
