Excellent point about BBC's Burnham interview
It's noticeable, too, that there wasn't a single question on the climate, at a time when Europe is experiencing catastrophic wild-fires & record-breaking heat.

It's astonishing how low down the political agenda this remains in Britain, when all the environmental indicators are signalling disaster.

Actually it’s a disaster for Farage and the BBC’s hopes.

Just listened to Chris Mason on Radio 4 defending BBC's excessive coverage of Farage & Reform. I was outraged by his response to legitimate criticism. I no longer trust the BBC's political coverage (actually I haven't for some time, but the BBC's behaviour has grown even worse of late).

The BBC's terrible failures on Gaza reporting have been exposed by Gary Lineker.

Even the question from the presenter exposes the BBC's raging bias.

Close enough, welcome back BBC's Sherlock
one of the strangest fandom culture moments is going down right now; a section of the Stranger Things fanbase have convinced themselves that the last episode wasn't the *real* finale, & that there are cryptic clues hidden in the background of the series hinting at a secret *real* finale to air today

Elaine Yates - the BBC's go to professional pensioner
This disingenuous commentary doesn’t help anyone.

Frauds start unravelling pretty quickly. That you apparently cannot afford to put your oven or treat yourself is quickly undermined by the question “so why are you spending £50 per week on petrol?”

Then, it turns out, she has an agent and /1
Elaine in this article "can't remember the last time she used her oven" but also spends £200 a month on petrol (so driving probably ~50 miles a day?)

(she's also a professional old person; she was on Good Morning Britain last year, and then also at the Nov budget, and the year before lmao)
