Be A Mentor recently attended the California Police Activities League Youth Mentoring Leadership Academy (YMLA) Conference. and was presented with an award for our work with the Rural CalPAL sites and the California National Guard.

No 40! I legitimately enjoy teaching, helping others, and spreading knowledge when I can (in case it wasn't obvious). So I can tell you on good authority that teaching is also a really good way to reaffirm your own knowledge and skills. Want to improve? Help others! Seems like a win-win, right?
