For the second straight week, we had rain and snow, so instead of skipping yet another week, we decided to trek to Brooklyn's Substance Skate Park.

The forecast called for rain, so we got in as much skating as we could. Unfortunately, we had to call it a bit earlier than we wanted, but still got a decent session in.

#MovementMonday I've been trying to make it to more 4DWN Babes meetups b/c Cortez Skate Shop offers mini lessons at them. It's helped me finally progress a little better with skateboarding. We'll get these kickturns more consistent. #beginnerskater

Another great day, despite the 38 degree weather. Allison made huge progress on her ollies, while the rest of the crew continued to make strides in the bowl.

Not even snow and ice can stop this crew! The group showed up with torch in hand to remove the snow and ice from the bowl. I was out sick, but Allison sent me video she took of her ollie progress.

We had clear and cool weather, which made for a packed park. We also had a really great turnout! Sam also saved Howard's life, because he foolishly forgot to put on his helmet.

Apologies for the delay on this week's video; these take a lot of time.
