Long ago my stepfather, kindly minister of the local church, had a problem with a gang of pigeons that had converted the belfry into a combination toilet/graveyard. Eventually he had some people capture all the pigeons and clean up the mess with hazmat equipment. ->

Hit up a couple of legendary spots in Tulsa today. Leon Russell's Church Studio and Cain's Ballroom, the home of Bob Wills from 1935-1942.
The belfry in the old Methodist church now has stained glass windows. Leon Russel, Elton John, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty A red sign with white lettering: CAINS BALLROOM DANCING People were setting up for a show, so I did the best I could. If you zoom in, you can see HOME OF BOB WILLS written on a banner above the stage. One of the siderooms was covered with posters. Here you can see Bob Weir, David Allan Coe (with Moondog!), Jerry Jeff Walker, and The Police among others.
