These and Stranger things are all variants of a font called ITC Benguiat
my friend pointed out to me that the BARBARIAN poster uses the same font as Sweet Baby Ray's sauces and I cannot stop thinking about it

It’s curious how a typeface such ITC Benguiat that seemed totally forgotten, even refused (when not hated) by designers is in line with the aesthetics of some typefaces today? What do you think?

It looks like ITC Benguiat, with tight tracking to emulate the 1970s letraset look. The W is probably modified to dial that up even further.

Two weights of the great typeface Souvenir designed by Morris Benton in the 1910s and revived and expanded by Ed Benguiat in the 70s. When you can’t get away with setting it in Cooper Black (or lighter), Souvenir is almost always my next try. Shame about the text
