A composite image showing an ejection event on asteroid Bennu. The image depicts the asteroid on the left, with a trail of sun-reflecting ejecta (gravel and rocks) streaming away to the right against the dark background of space. The ejection is likely caused by impacts, thermal fracturing, or water vapor release. Data shows that while larger rocks fall back to Bennu, smaller particles escape the asteroid's low gravity.
