Schätze die RAM Preise spielen eine Rolle: Der Pi5 8GB kostet bei berrybase 185€ und der Pi5 16GB kostet 314€, d.h. 8 GB mehr kosten 129€. Wenn ich die 129€ von dem 185€ abziehe (= Pi ohne RAM) bleiben 56€ ein Preis, den man für einen Bastel-Pi erwarten würde.

Not too sure about the US pricing but here in the EU from BerryBase I'm able to get the bare cards for 3.50eur exc VAT. I'm not using these solely on Raspberry Pi SBCs so it's all good!
