Regardless of the weather, walking on the beach on St Stephen's Day is my favo(u)rite Christmas tradition. But I have never come close to this shipwreck before? This vessel, called Eilean Glas, was sailing from Belfast to Devon carrying salt in 1980 but came too close to the shore.

Irish smoked salmon on French baguette, Greek capers and Greek wine :)
I got the baguette in a nice bakery up at Bettystown Co. Meath, the smoked salmon is a gift from a Corkonian friend- the capers from Chios and the wine… Thymiopoulos’ honest and fair Assyrtiko.

In fairness it was found down towards Bettystown beach, but I guess the Betty brooch didn't sound so romantic and laden with Celtic Twilight crap.
Its still phenomenal

EU rules? Are they having a laugh? When will they take accountability for the problems of their own making. For example, there’s an entire unfinished apartment complex in Bettystown that has been lying derelict for years. This is on the Irish government, no-one else.
