The joy and beauty of big2 comics is that there is so many characters, and so many takes and versions on each of them, that there's something for everyone. And even tho you probably won't like all of them, every take is just as valid.

Most big2 comic properties would work better as good 20-ep tv shows then they ever will as movies. Ppl go "Oh cheesy" but the CW DC shows showed how well it works. It allows the normal char to shine and not have ever moment be end of the world. It is way more comic and true to the chars. If we got

JSA #1 was also good today, but was left a little wanting. I love Lemire, too 5 writers for me, but this felt too traditional big2 for me. But he’s nailing the drama and character definition and I’m excited to see that blossom.
