I really love that toad and bowser look a lot less blocky. I feel like allowing them to have minifigs/bigfigs just allows for so much freedom. Mario, Luigi and Peach are a huge upgrade and i'm glad there'll be versions of them to display without creepy dead eyes

There are other characters that I'd love to see but that I just can't imagine making it into the set.
Doomsday and Mongul would need to be bigfigs which would absolutely balloon the budget.
Cyborg Superman would need VERY detailed prints, for some reason I'm picturing him as a guidebook exclusive?

oh god yes bowser and dk *gotta* have bigfigs, bit worried they might not though since i’ve noticed LEGO tries to avoid big figs a *lot* for characters that probably could have used that template

The Fantasy Era trolls and the 2010 Wampa are definitely direct ancestors of the modern-day bigfigs, but they don't have the universal 6x3/6x4 footprint or the standard arms and hands that practically every post-Hulk bigfig has used.

Kinda wild to me they still haven't done a Solomon Grundy bigfig. I dislike bigfigs, but if anyone would fit the style, it's Grundy, right? They could pretty easily retool the Hulk mold to make him I feel

Yup. A lot of the Jurassic World sets seem "inspired by" the films rather than taken from actual scenes or events in the movie. I'm only ever in it for the LEGO Dinosaur bigfigs anyhow so I don't care.
