Both of those games weren't given a fair chance cause of fucked up management by Sega, 06 had a very small release window with lots of development hell, boom rol was going well til bigredbutton was told by Sega in the middle of development it was supposed to be a wiiu exclusive

Which makes sense when you remember that Cryengine 3 (the engine the game ran on) was not supported on Wii U, and BigRedButton had to get help from both Nintendo and Crytech to get the engine working

I don't think Boom was gonna be good... ever, but I don't think them choosing to do it or allowing BigRedButton to was the worst decision.
Stuff like the Wii U Exclusivity & the Engine Switch is what really did them in in the long run.
