This was good friend and Seattle bike friend, founder of Bike Disco, Salt. Run down from behind, hit and run, adjacent to Meridian Playground on N 50th St @ Keystone (e/b) in Wallingford. He’s in the hospital and should be okay.

Last week a family member saw our garage for the first time & said “that’s an awful lot of bikes.”
Parked right outside our garage was their BMW Q7, which compared to all of our bikes *combined*, costs WAY more & takes up the same space when parked.
Theirs for 2 people, ours for family of 4.

No one bats an eye at families that own multiple SUVs, so I present an alternative. Families that own two e-cargo bikes. I carry the child and most of her gear in the Urban Arrow, while the Mrs carries the stroller on the back of her Tern HSD.

Was a thing we struggled with Church Street as well. We originally banned cycling through, then after community feedback just restricted e-bikes/scooters and allowed slow regular bikes through.
