Thought you might like to see this short video I took on my morning dog walk. Don’t normally walk here until summer as it gets very very soggy underfoot. I’m panning round Binevenagh mountain, Atlantic Ocean, Greencastle, Donegal, in background.

one missed flight, and a power cut upon arrival later, and I've finally found time to enjoy some of Northern Ireland

the view from my bedroom window is stunning, and the local beach is as well ⛰️🌊

John Muir

Also for me, it’s what waits at the end of the forest. 😊

Guys the sun is shining and the birds are singing. Time to take my dog his walk. See you all later. Thought you might like to see the field where I took my #BirdOfTheDay capture. So I start here and hike up the mountain in the background. Have a great day. #photography #Ireland #scape #ECK

Binevenagh was looking particularly beautiful tonight. Almost beautiful enough for me not to have regretted cycling up it.

So yesterday I was up on the mountain. I hiked up the slope on the left of first pic so I could show you how close we are to Scotland, Islay and Jura to be precise. Could almost smell the single malt wafting in the air. 😁 #photography #landscape #NorthernIreland #Scotland

I visited a tiny slither of woodland on a crag near Binevenagh, Co. Derry recently and despite its size it packed a big punch of temperate rainforest diversity.

Loads of Colura calyptrifolia and Lejeunea patens. I also found another popn of Endoantria benetecta which is the first for the county
