Twice in recent weeks a goldfinch has turned up outside my window, and both times I have gasped audibly. The first time I was too stunned to get a picture. Today I got lucky. He was digging seeds from my echinacea.

I think lark sparrows are so pretty, but they never pose for pictures, and the lighting is bad. (Didn’t notice this house finch squatting on top of the feeder at the time. 😂) #BirdReport
