I just finished #Heliruna to the point where it's all the boring non-creative work that needs to be done before release left, so in the meantime I've picked up another novel called #BloodReich which is about a coven of vampires defending their homeland during WWII. Very excited.

Broke 10,000 words today too! Quintuple digits two days in a row! And I've got more than I did yesterday so racking up a new high score too! AND #LastExitToMidnight 's manuscript is now more complete than #BloodReich

#BloodReich is now at 15,185 words, with an expected total word count of 28,472 words, though that number has been steadily increasing and may end up in short novel territory by the time this is over with. Remember that #TheWoods started as a novella too.

It's too long to post (and would be spoilers for #BloodReich anyways), but I recently wrote a chapter where I put Hannah in an impossible situation with forty nazis armed with two tanks blocking her way and then just tried to come up with a creative solution and what resulted is DELIGHTFULLY morbid.

It's too long to post (and would be spoilers for #BloodReich anyways), but I recently wrote a chapter where I put Hannah in an impossible situation with forty nazis armed with two tanks blocking her way and then just tried to come up with a creative solution and what resulted is DELIGHTFULLY morbid.
#WeeknightWriters I wanted to write a novel where we get to root for vampires but wanted to avoid romantic or sparkly vampire tropes and still portray them as bloodthirsty monsters, so I had to find monsters that were worse than vampires for them to fight, thus #BloodReich (ie. Nazis vs Vampires").

#WeeknightWriters I wanted to write a novel where we get to root for vampires but wanted to avoid romantic or sparkly vampire tropes and still portray them as bloodthirsty monsters, so I had to find monsters that were worse than vampires for them to fight, thus #BloodReich (ie. Nazis vs Vampires").
Working on revising my outline right now but I'm like 10 words away from 25k on #BloodReich and my projected final word count is at like 50k words, meaning I'm in third novel territory and not just novella.
