i actually have to do research😭 Boombride used a lot of pre production ttrpg lore so i had done the work over years prior
For the sequel, i need to know facts about the French Revolution, pop music, Korean culture, & the Wild Hunt
Need recs for wild hunt myths and stories (Besides Witcher lol)

In lighter news, meet Kara! The first of a fun little comic project i'm calling MCIS. MAGICAL CYBERGIRLS IN SPACE.
When the premise is ridiculous, you don't even NEED a clever title.
This takes place in the boombride universe, but FAR AWAY from the book storyline

I also wanted some "OCs" as it were to practise on publically so i can feel better about keeping Boombride 2 things secret because i am working but I can't share things without being super duper ultra spoilery 😭😭
So i thought some cyberpunk magical girls in space would do 😅

I don't have Boombride rn, but the part where a mage bloke is about to cast Decapitation Laser or something. Sook's all: I'm bound, and beat, and threatened, and about to die, and it would be so hot except for this sh!tstain. I cackled while on a train full of folk.

Found out a moot got fingerblasted while reading the big sex scene in Boombride so i think i've succeeded. I don't know what award they could give me that's better than certified live lesbian sex

The 10th Narratess Indie Sale is starting this Saturday! We've been working hard to get everything ready, but there is something I want to highlight before Saturday.
We made a big change for this sale which may or may not be permanent.
There is no 99 cent option anymore.

The other thing is the idea that romance can only be titillating?? I wouldn't use that word for Boombride (btw your copy will ship soon thank you for your patience)

I have this urge to market Boombride as "not your average romance" but I feel like that's exclusionary and dismissive to the genre overall. But it is a bit different, especially given that the sequel adds a second couple and focuses more on their relationship, which is kind of a sin. Idk

one of the silliest projects that i would make if i had unlimited money is a Nap City fighting game (boombride setting)
Nil's monowire ult would be an instakill but you can only use it if you've only been hit one time, and the only way to build up the meter is by dodging and using in game emotes

this is one of the big reasons I made the MC of boombride 1 and 2 a big muscular korean woman who keeps being told to be sexualized <3
inspired by my adopted korean ex who was fat and incredibly gorgeous. That was just her body type, and i kept telling her that, but society (and her mom) disagreed
